Pop pop, pop! If you are hearing that upon snapping the throttle closed, you may have an issue with your carburetor air cut off valve. This valve cuts off air to the pilot circuit during deceleration, thus enriching the pilot circuit and reducing the lean pops that you may be hearing. The valve is in place to allow for a smaller, more emissions friendly pilot jet. Our kits includes what you need to rebuild the valve, and ensure that it is functioning as it should.
