Brand new tooling!
Don't let the price fool you. We worked very hard to make these as nice as possible while maintaining a economical price point, and we hit it out of the park. The head pipes, crossover, and the crossover clamps are constructed of polished high quality 304 stainless steel. Very well made direct replacements of the originals.
Can be used with factory or aftermarket mufflers that will accept a 38mm OD pipe.
- 304 polished stainless steel - No more rusty, pitting pipes
- Includes stainless crossover and stainless steel hardware
- Direct replacements - No modifications needed to stock bikes
Note: 304 stainless steel will not rust, but can be discolored by high heat. Extreme discoloration is often caused by improper ignition timing and/or fuel to air ratio.

put them on my r90 /6 along with your mufflers.got the mufflers first i then realized how bad my header looked so i ordered the headers.everything was as stated.really dressed the old girl up.

Other sources say that these will fit my 1973 r60/5 . Just wanted to make sure before placing order. Thanks
These pipes will fit your bike, but please understand, these pipes are a special one-time offering. Normally they would be about twice this cost, but there is a slight defect in the pipes. We've found the left pipe hangs about 10mm lower than the right. You will need to install the pipes in place leaving the cylinder nuts loose. Some folks have a friend help them lift the left pipe into place so the peg bolt can be inserted through the hanger, while others use a floor jack. In either case, you have to be careful not to tip the bike over. If you use a floor jack, be sure to place a block of wood between the jack and the pipe and don't jack at the very tip.
We have had over 60 customers install these successfully and I have done it on my own bikes at least 3 times. This is not as easy as putting on a set of factory pipes, but it's not that bad. It takes a little extra effort, but in the end, you have a nice set of stainless pipes.Answer by: rick c (Admin) on Feb 21, 2019 1:46:00 PM
