Would it be possible to change bulb out to an LED when needed?
This headlight uses a replaceable bulb rather than a sealed beam, so if you can locate an LED bulb that is a direct replacement for the incandescent one installed, it can easily be swapped out. There are a huge number of automotive LED lamps being produced now, so you should be able to find one.
A lot of people are also cutting larger holes in the backs of the lenses to install a larger and more powerful LED lamps, especially on old bikes where replacements aren't easily found. The lamp is centered, tested and then epoxied in place. I have done this myself with excellent results. You could do that with this headlight as long as the power required to light the bulb didn't exceed the output of your alternator.Answer by: rick c (Admin) on Dec 10, 2019 1:15:00 PM -
Does this light have a hi/low or dual filament capability?
Yes, this headlight has hi-lo.

Do you know if this will fit a 1986 Fourtrax 125? Your listing says 1985, but I'm unsure if it might work on the 1986.
Much thanks! Finding these things is nearly impossible.These could be used on just about anything if you want to tinker with it, but we do not know if it will be a direct replacement for your existing light.
