Details

Our Royal Enfield 500 kit includes a Mikuni VM34 pre-jetted carb, Mikuni flange adapter, aluminum manifold spacer plate, mounting bolts, throttle cable, washable, oiled air filter, and fuel line.

  • Pre-jetted Mikuni VM carburetor
  • Includes air filter, throttle cable, flange adapter, mounting bolts and spacer plate
  • Carburetor components, and flange adapter are genuine Mikuni products
  • Complete kit ready to be installed

We jet these for what we have found to be the most suitable for the majority of bikes.  We ship these all over the world.  Engine requirements do vary because of modifications, locations, and available fuel types.  We include several tuning jets, both main and pilot for these occasions.

NOTE:  These are intended for the recently produced models.  The cable included within our kit is intended to replace the factory cable from the carburetor, to the junction block.

    The center-to-center distance on this flange is approximately 61mm.

  • What jet sizes do you recommend starting with when you have a 9:1 piston and open exhaust?

    We build this kit to work on the stock bikes listed, as long as they are ridden at sea level to about 3500 ft. If modifications are made to the stock bike, some jetting modifications may be necessary. You have an open exhaust, so you may possibly need a slightly larger main. We install a 195 main jet in the kit, but additional jets are included. You may need the 210 jet, but I would ride the bike and test it before changing jets.
    Please see this Mikuni tuning and jetting manual. Be sure you read the testing section. That will help you determine if you need to change jetting.
