• Hi there, I just bought a float-bowl gasket for mikuni 18mm round slide carb sku17/161, it is to small, bike is a1970 bridgestone 100 tmx [18mm] ,what do you think ? thx

  Its pretty hard to say with a bike that old. Can you send us photos of the old gasket, next to the new one? If you do not have the old gasket, can you send a photo of the gasket surface for the carb, and the float bowl?

  The VM20/492 float bowl gasket will fit the aftermarket, round-slide, VM24, Mikuni carb we use in our TTR125 kits. However, if you have the OEM Yamaha carb in you bike you should know that the aftermarket and OEM carbs are not identical. OEM carb parts for TTR125 can only be sold through an authorized Yamaha dealer. Even when the parts are identical, the part numbers are completely different and Mikuni will not share OEM part numbers with us. So, it is possible this gasket will fit the OEM carb, but we have no way of knowing.
