Mikuni Idle Adjuster Screw

• Were there once 2 different (length) idle adjuster screws available for the "Mikuni VM 32) used on Suzuki t500. I changed a carb body and now the idle adjuster screw from the original (worn) body is to short for the "new". 22,5mm approximately. The boss with the hole is longer. So i need a longer one of idle.....screw.
  It looks that`s the VM 24/224 can be the right one. Can i use them with the original spring and O ring.

  I am not sure if there were different lengths for the VM32 or not. Some OEM Mikuni carbs had different designs compared to what is available publicly. The VM24/224 idle adjustment screw has an effective length of 30mm. This is measured from the tip, to the end of the threads. I also am not able to speculate on whether or not the original spring, and o-ring will work. As far as I know, the VM24/224 does not utilize an o-ring.
