Description

Details

Kit includes: Pre-jetted Mikuni round slide VM carbs fitted with UFO slide modifiers, Mikuni flange adapters, and washable and reusable oiled air filters.  Carburetors are pre-jetted for stock or very mildly modified engines.

  • Uses the factory throttle, and choke cables
  • Slides are pre-fitted with UFOs
  • Carburetors, and internal jetting components are Genuine Mikuni Products
  • Includes two additional sizes of main jets: 240 and 250

We ship these all over the world.  Engine setup (especially chamber type, and porting), location, and type of fuel used will all have an effect on the requirements of the engine.  We jet these to what we have seen apply to the majority of applications for stock, or mildly modified engines.  We include additional jetting in such instances where the out of the box setup is not adequate.

Great of offer this project for the 750 H2. Just needs a little perfecting to be bolt on and go.

Service has been great. The product(s) separately are all high quality. As a kit it just needs a little tweaking to be 5 stars. I would recommend installing a vacuum port to one carb for those using vacuum operated petcocks. Or at least mention it does not have one but is optional. When installing U.F.O.'s, the pilot jets are usually about half the size of the same carb set up without U.F.O.'s. For this set up, a 15 pilot should be standard. Also a P2 needle jet should be standard. Way too rich below 5k as is. The K&N filters hit the frame. Had to trip half the mounting flange to get them on and they still hit the frame. A 3" long foam pod like UNI or Ramair would be much better. Some say filters with a metal end plate cause tuning issues due to reversion of the sound waves being reflected back into the carb throats.

  • Are these made in Japan? Can you get with vacuum on one carb? If you order with power jet can I get appropriate jetting for mild porting engine with piston cut outs.

    With few exceptions all of our genuine Mikuni products are made Japan. None are made in China. As far as we know, no Mikuni products are made in China, although a few of their carbs are assembled in Mexico. We get asked this question a lot because of Chinese MIkuni copies that are flooding the market.
    We do not custom jet our carbs for particular bikes, but the larger VM34 with the UFO kit would be the best choice for your bike.
    We do not modify these carbs for use with vacuum petcocks.
