Honda CB350 CL350 Mikuni VM30 30mm Carburetor Kit

After receiving the carbs in the mail and attempting to install them into the oem intake manifold boots, I’m extremely hoping the new boots I just ordered will fit. I’m exhausted from fighting the old boots.

I have built 4 CB350 projects in the last 2 years. All of them have received Mikuni carburetors. I purchased 2 kits from Niche, and the other two from different vendors. I am pretty sure all 4 ultimately came from Niche Cycle. I am very pleased with their service, and would recommend this kit, and Niche to anyone in need of a Mikuni carburetor kit. I have a stock 1971 Honda cb350 and these carburetors were jetted well enough for the engine to run without any changes to them. The jets; however, will most likely need to be fine tuned for the engine to run properly.

From what I have checked so far, this kit includes the following:
Mains: 140*, 145, 150, 160, 170
Pilots: 40*, 45, 50
Needle Jet: Have not checked yet
Jet Needle: 6F5* at clip position 3 (middle)
Throttle Slide: 3.0*
*Included inside the "pre-jetted" carburetors

For my bike in particular, I need leaner pilot jets (this kit only includes 2 richer pilot jet choices) and possibly a richer needle jet (only one needle jet included). So, prepare to spend a little extra money on some new jets. I am confident that these carburetors will be perfect after I jet them correctly.

The throttle cable did not work for me at all. I cut and assembled it properly, but it had a real tendency to stick and resist any motion to accelerate or decelerate the bike. I ended up modifying my original throttle cables and that worked out perfectly.
