Honda XR400R Mikuni TM36 36mm Accelerator Pump Carburetor Kit with Remote Choke

I would like to just let you know that I purchased a Mikuni carb for my XR400 and recieved it the same week. That alone was great but there is more. The thing bolted on easier than the Oe carb, it fit the intake and air boot perfectly and the new cables fit great. Pluss, my bike has electric start from a Honda 400ex. The new Mikuni cleared the starter with 1/2" to spare. Before I installed I did check the ac pump timing but did not check the jets. I started it with the choke, set the idle, set the pilot with 2.5 turns out and mounted the remote choke because I have a 4 gallon IMS on it. From the first ride I knew I made the right choice. This completely eliminates the hesitation/bog the OE carb has. This is a very smooth working unit. This is the type of carb this bike should have come with originally. Thank you for such a great product. Money well spent IMO.
