• I have tried ordering from others suppliers the 16mm and 16.5mm kick start lever and neither one works on my Honda 1986 XL250R motorbike. So can I order this one and try it? And can I return this product if it doesn't work?
  

  This kickstart lever should fit your 1986 XR250R. You could purchase this kickstart lever and return it if it is in new condition, but if your are unsure it will fit, a better approach would be to first go to Harbor Freight (on-line or store) and get an inexpensive digital caliper. They have one that is about $10. It's a good tool to have on hand and you can use it frequently when working on your bike. If you measure your kickstart shaft and it is 19mm, then you can be sure this lever will fit your bike.
  Unfortunately, If you have attempted to fit kickstart levers that were too small (16 and 16.5), you may have damaged the splines on your shaft. If that is the case, some repairs may be necessary to get the correct kickstart lever to fit. If you attempted to fit our kickstart lever onto a bike with damaged splines, you could damage the grooves on our kickstart lever. In that case, we would not accept the return.

• the 19mm kick starter that i ordered , is it the same quality and is as durable as the orginal honda xl600 factory kick starter?

  These kicker levers are well made, with quality materials, and are very durable. Its a pretty nice part.

• Will this fit a 1985 Honda CR250

  The fitment information that we have does not include the CR250. If your bike uses a 19mm shaft, it may work, but this is not the exact part that came on that bike.

• Is this lever made of aluminum?

  This lever is made of steel.
