  • I have a 1972 CB500k frame with a 1978 CB550k engine. Will these pipe work?

    We are not sure. There may be some bracket modifications needed. They will fit at the engine, but the rest of the way back is unknown.

    I would imagine using these pipes used on a 1978 cb550 four would need re-jetting. Do you have any knowledge and the size jets to use?

    Yes, carburetor tuning will be needed in almost any case with these drag pipes due to the lack of baffle. It will be hard to determine proper jetting sizes prior to install due to so many factors that come into play.
