  • I have a 1989 Mikuni VM24SS (Suzuki atv) which has a cable style choke (starter). I want to convert it to a non-cable style choke (either bullet knob or lever). Do you know if this part (VM24/774) will work with the OEM Suzuki Mikuni VM24SS carb? I am primarily concerned with it being the proper thread size. Mine appears to be 10mm diameter but I don't know the thread pitch. Thank you for your time and help.

    Unfortunately, I cannot tell you if our plunger assembly will fit in your carb. The OEM carburetors Mikuni made for Suzuki are very similar to the aftermarket Mikuni carbs we sell, and they share some parts, but they are not the same. Unfortunately, Mikuni has never shared a list of parts that are compatible in both carbs. If fact, the OEM carbs have their own set of part numbers which are unique (with the exception of jetting).

  • Good Morning, will this work on the ucal carbs that are on the yamaha ttr?

    Our parts are only advertised to work with genuine Mikuni carburetors.
